Prague Blague (more nonsense)

"Everybody's workin' for the weekend..."
I am not kidding. He was playing that. It was awesome.

I ran into one of the guys from the Sonic Drive-In commercials at this church.

Mmmm...serene...

Drunk and hungry on my birthday. I got a McBorscht.

Yet another church.

Prague Blague (continued again)

Peaceful out here.

A random factory in the middle of the countryside. Still peaceful.

We stopped here for lunch but our driver wanted to wait in the car. From this quaint sidewalk patio we were able to watch our driver get approached by a cop, with sirens flashing; see him get questioned; see the cop inspect some papers; see them both angrily pointing at various signs posted on the street; and, finally, see our van disappear down the street. Our lunch, however, was very good. I had the pork tenderloin.

This was the outdoor cafe next to ours. If you look past the umbrellas on the right, you can see where our van used to be parked.

Even though this looks like the Universal Studios backlot, or one of the streets at Epcot Center, it is, in fact, Europe. Mmmm...cobblestoney...

Prague Blague (continued)

Church of Bones located in lovely Kutna Hora, Czech Republic.
Enjoy the fun pictures.

The delightful entryway to the church.

A lovely chandelier, and some decorative wall hangings.

Prague Blague

A trolly. We sometimes take it to the production offices we're working at. They're fun and free. And by Free, I mean I get on without paying anyone.

The little road that leads to famous The Charles Bridge. Mmmm...touristy...

This is a funny little band that was playing on the bridge. Apparently, The Girl from Impanema is a crowd pleaser in any language. They had a little tip bucket, so I dropped some czech coins in. It was either 93¢ or $17.25. I'm not sure. Their money is hard to read.

Another shot of The Charles Bridge, taken from a patio where we had dinner. I got sorta messed up on Absinthe that night, but I do know that The Charles Bridge is on the top of every Prague visitor's must-see list. It is also popular with Czech artists, musicians and souvenir vendors whose stands line both sides of the bridge year-round. A great time of day to come to the bridge is at sunset when one can enjoy a breathtaking view of the fully lit Prague Castle against the lavender evening sky. All of those statements are true because I copied it from a brochure I found in the hotel lobby because Absinthe makes your brain no work good tomorrow.

A building. I don't know what goes on in there, but I'm sure it's very important.

Alf.

A street fiddler. He played sad music. And if I had another $17 on me, I would have given it to him.
