A few random pics from South America. (Click to enlarge)Clockwise, from upper right:
1. These little kids were experiencing, what I like to call, World Cup Fever. Check out the attempted diving save.
2. "In Case of Emergency" signs on the boat we took over to Uraguay. The only one I could make sense of was "4". And if disaster were to strike at sea, I seriously doubt that information would do me much good.
3. A dog tied to a parking meter waits for his owner. I named him Squinty.
4. Our production company took a 2 hour break to watch Argentina put the beat down on Serbia, during their World Cup match. There was a lot of hugging. I was involved only occasionally. (not pictured)
5. Client dinners...zzzzz...
6. An angel sculpture atop a mausoleum. (I can't believe I spelled that right on the first try.)
7. A magnificent, two-story wall of liquor at a restaurant called Sucre. This is from the second floor. I had never felt more alive.
8. This little dude was chattering away in spanish, either selling something, or distracting me so his little buddy, hiding nearby, could pick my pocket. But the joke was on him: I wore no pants that day.
9. Argentinian bathroom sinks are very low.
10. Watching an old lady, watching me, take a picture of myself in Colonia, Uraguay.
